Beginning her career as a self-taught editor, she quickly made her mark across entertainment and scripted comedy, with credits including The League of Gentlemen, Cuckoo, and Gogglebox. Drawn to high-concept, emotionally charged storytelling, Jennifer’s short films span multiple genres. Her directorial debut, the children’s fantasy The Snow Spider (CBBC, 2020), was followed by the gripping BBC drama Rules of the Game, starring Maxine Peake and Alison Steadman. She went on to direct two consecutive seasons of Disney+ and Hulu’s hit superhero comedy Extraordinary, both of which achieved a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. The series garnered multiple awards—including a Broadcast Digital Award, a Royal Television Society Award, and a Venice TV Festival Award—and earned a BAFTA nomination for Best Scripted Comedy. Jennifer recently directed on Season 2 of Malpractice (ITV/World Productions) and has spent this year as lead director on the forthcoming BBC and BritBox drama The Other Bennet Sister. Her feature debut, Rose – A Love Story, starring Matt Stokoe and Sophie Rundle, premiered at the 2020 BFI London Film Festival to widespread acclaim.
